TWM Atlanta - Real Bride {Courtney}

How did you meet Wes and when did you know he was the one? 

I met him randomly after church one Sunday at El Mezcal, a local Mexican eatery in Atlanta. I was asked to join a group of people for lunch and he happened to sit by me and the rest is history! I knew he was the one after our first Christmas together, he flew home to Ohio with me and fit so well with my family. I had never had a guy so actively pursue me the right way and fit so well with my family (which is very important to me). I would say besides that, it was little moments after Christmas that just kept confirming that he was the one..it was taking care of me when I was sick to remembering my favorite movie and flowers. Just loving life with him, I realized there was no one I would rather go through the ups and downs with besides him. As cliché as it is..he has made me a better person and has helped me grow in my faith and as a person.

How did he pop the question?? What went through your mind at that exact moment?? 

He popped the question at Soap Creek Trail in Atlanta..it is this beautiful trail by the old paper mills and we would go there about every week with his dog. It became our special place where we could go and just talk. Well one Thursday (August 13^th to be exact) he asked if I wanted to go to Soap Creek after work, which wasn’t too out of the ordinary except that it was a weekday but I didn’t think much of it. We walked and then when we got to the end of the trail by the river, his best friend popped out and grabbed the dog..that’s when I started to feel that something was up but right when he did that I looked down and noticed about 100 mason jars with candles spread throughout the sand, trees, rocks etc. by the river. He then sat me down on a rock and popped the question. After he asked, a bunch of our friends jumped out from the trees. They were watching the entire thing and taking pictures. We then went back to his house where he had planned a party with our closest friends! My mind was going crazy at the river... I just couldn’t believe it! I was speechless when all of our friends jumped out because I was still in shock over what just happened, and the time he took to fill every mason jar with sand and candles. It was the most romantic and perfect proposal I could have ever asked for.. it was completely us.

What was your experience like at our TWM Atlanta boutique? 

It was AMAZING! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I felt super special and I love how they only take one customer at a time. It really adds to the bridal experience and I couldn’t think of anywhere else I would rather go. I truly felt like a princess. It was amazing to just have the place to myself and my friends & family that came along too.

Who was your stylist and how was your correspondence with them? 

Mallory! She was amazing! Anytime I had a question via email, she would promptly email me back. At TWM, she gave me the confidence to try dresses I normally wouldn’t and helped pick out the most amazing choices for me. The entire staff is simply amazing and there to help you find the perfect dress and will do anything in their powers to make it happen. They even helped me pick out the most perfect veil!

What was your favorite thing(s) about the dress you said YES to? 

I loved how lightweight it was and that I could dance in it. There are details at the top of the dress that attracted me to it as well. When I put it on, I just knew it was the one! It was totally me! 

& finally, would you recommend TWM to your friends and family?? 

YES YES YES..already have recommended them to brides that have asked! It was a great experience! Everyone was amazing to work with and is there to help you find the perfect dress!
