Winter Wedding Inspiration
The winter season is upon us and we're thrilled to share some of our favorite ideas for gorgeous winter weddings!
Winter is the special time of year when you can snuggle up with a loved one, enjoy the gorgeous scenery around you, and sip on hot cocoa by the fireplace. It's no wonder that Brides pick this season to host the most important day of their lives!
If you're a Bride who loves deep color tones, elegant details, metallic design then you'll love the suggestions we have for you!
When planning a Winter Wedding, it's important to put as much thought into detail as possible so you get the winter look you're going for, without boarder-lining on a complete Christmas themed wedding.
To help differentiate a Christmas wedding from a Winter wedding, we recommend that you consider the following options:
Color Pallet: Yes, Red and Green are the traditional colors of Christmas, but just because you incorporate it into your wedding, doesn't mean you have to break out your Christmas decor to fill up your wedding venue! Instead, of the standard red and green Christmas hues, consider pairing colors like pine green, sage, cranberry, and gold. It's a sure-fire way to get the winter charm you're going for without being overly cheesy.
Flowers: There's nothing more beautiful than deep toned flowers surrounded by berries and lush greenery. Talk to your florist and create a floral look that's both wintery and romantic.
Invitations: Metallic is a big trend this year so this is probably where you'd want to look into having gold-leafed invitations. It's a simple but elegant way to showcase the overall look of your wedding while still remaining true to your winter theme.
Accessories: For winter weddings, it's important to play up your accessories to complete the bridal look you're going for. We highly suggest you to incorporate a fur wrap with your bridal gown! It's not only pretty but also functional as well since it will keep you warm in the cold wintery weather!
There are many ways to have a beautiful winter wedding and we encourage all of our brides to get creative and find new and exciting ways to style your wedding with chic and sophisticated taste. Let's face it, we can all do without the santa hats, tinsel and candy canes when it comes to the most important day of your life! An elegant winter theme is the perfect way to pull that off and we hope you've found some inspiration from us to help you plan your special day!
